Each year, on the anniversary of the sinking, USS St. Lo and USS Dennis survivors and their families come together to renew friendships, share memories and exchange accounts of their personal experiences.
Our 2023 reunion is in Washington, DC, from Monday, October 23, to Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the Hilton Arlington National Landing Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.

See the reunion schedule below. Your registration fee includes the Welcome Reception, Hospitality Room, St. Lo/Dennis Memorial Wreath, coach bus transportation to and from events on the 24th and 25th, and miscellaneous reunion expenses. We hope you’ll join us!

Schedule
Sunday – October 22, 2023
- 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.: Registration for early arrivals
Monday – October 23, 2023
- Noon – 11 p.m.: Registration all day
- Free day to enjoy the Washington, DC, area attractions
- 4 p.m.: Wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Note: When you submit your registration form, please let us know if you will require assistance with transportation to Arlington Cemetery for this event.
- 7 p.m.: Welcome reception and hospitality room evening activities
Tuesday – October 24, 2023
- 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Travel to the World War II Memorial and The National Museum of the United States Navy.
- Evening dinner: Planned at a local restaurant. Last year this event proved quite a success for those attending!
Wednesday – October 25, 2023
- 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m: Travel to the Navy Yard for our Memorial Service at The Navy Museum. Following the Memorial Service is lunch and a tour of the museum.
Thursday – October 26, 2023
- 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m: Farewell breakfast hotel restaurant and departures. (Optional based on departures).
